Session FAQ

how does this whole thing work?
For starters, inquire! For a Muse Call, Creative Call, or a regular Boudoir Session, let’s get in touch! Once we are sure we’re the right fit for each other, you’ll choose your session date and pay your retainer. After that, I’ll send you a session contract to outline expectations for both of us to make your session an incredible experience! After that, you’ll select which collection you prefer most and I’ll help you prepare for your session with curated prep guides I’ve honed over 7 years of being in the boudoir industry.

How much does a boudoir session cost?
The session fee is $750 (or less for a Muse Call/Creative Call) which covers everything leading up to and including your boudoir session. Printed products (albums, wall art, folio boxes, etc.) and digitals are not included in the session fee and are an additonal expense.
Collection pricing starts as low as $1250 ($750 for Muse Calls)

Is hair and makeup included in the session fee?
YES, Hair and makeup is included as a complimentary service with your Session Fee.

Do I need to bring my own outfits?
Nope! We offer a 300+ piece client closet for you to choose your outfits from! If you’re worried about what you’ll wear, bring one or two outfits that you know you’ll like and then choose to supplement or replace with pieces from my closet!

When do you offer sessions?
Sessions take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Your session will begin at 10AM. The entire experience (including hair and makeup) is typically around 4-5 hours total, so please plan accordingly!
Prepayment FAQ

How do payment plans work?
Easy!
You can apply for financing options up to 36 months with Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay.
Download the app for whichever institution you prefer and create your profile to learn your spending power, then use the search bar to type “Kristen Jones Boudoir” (nothing will come up), at which point you can select “use one-time virtual card” option. Input the amount of the collection you wish to prepay for and choose your payment plan option.
Once your payment plan is set up, you will receive a virtual credit card number that you can use to purchase your gallery.

Can I opt in for a payment plan after my session?
Post-payment plans are not offered after sessions at this time, so all purchases must be made with the pre-session payment plan and any upgrades must be made on at your Image Reveal + Ordering Session.

What type of payments do you offer?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Afterpay, Affirm, and Klarna.

What happens to the images I don't purchase?
Any unpurchased images are permanently deleted 30 days after your session.
Posing FAQ

Do I have to come up with my own poses?
Absolutely not! At my boudoir studio, we’ll use what I call the Goddess Posing Method, an easy to follow step-by-step process that clients of all shapes and sizes can easily achieve. By the time your boudoir session is over, you’ll be surprised you were nervous at all!

I don't know how to pose sexy!
It’s okay, I do! I will guide you and guide you with my expert head-to-toe posing and facial expression coaching. There are a few simple tricks to getting that sexy, effortless look that every boudoir client wants to achieve.

Can you pose plus-size women?
YES.
As a mid-size queen myself with more belly than booty, I can assure you that I know how to pose clients in a way that doesn’t make you feel shameful of your body curves, but embraces them in a softer, more comfortable way. I am not a photographer who believes “all bodies should be photographed the exact same” because bodies ARE NOT all the same, and that’s what makes them so wonderful.
